Brugge - A Beauty Beyond Measure

The city is bordered on all sides by the River Meuse. This river flows through the heart of the city. From the heart of the city, the river empties into the sea at the north and east. You will find some good water sports in Brugge including boating, windsurfing, sailing and swimming. There are also some fine museums. The museum of Flemish crafts and ceramics and the Museum of Arms and Armor are particularly noteworthy. If you like music, you will love the Loevingen opera house, which was formerly the royal theater.
